| 内容： | Production of a porous ceramic shaped article (I) containing beta -silicon carbide (SiC) involves: (a) forming a porous shaped article (II) containing silicon and carbon from a mass containing silicon-containing particles (III), carbon-containing particles (IV) and preferably a cokeable organic binder, (b) pyrolyzing (II) at 600-1000[deg]C, and (c) siliconizing by heating at 1150-1700[deg]C. Independent claims are included for: (1) porous ceramic shaped articles (I') containing beta -SiC, having an average pore size of 0.1-50 mu m and a pervading 3-dimensional beta -SiC structure; and (2) systems containing (I'). |
