内容: | Friction disk contains a friction layer and a core zone made from fiber-reinforced ceramic composite materials. The core zone contains at least two layers of multidirectional fibrous tissue as reinforcement. At least 5% of the surface of each fibrous tissue is penetrated by a matrix material so that the matrix material forms a continuous phase even in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the tissue layers. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of the friction disk. Preferred Features: The reinforcing fibers are carbon-containing fibers having an average length of at least 50 mm. The matrix contains phases of silicon carbide, silicon and, optionally, carbon in the core zone. |
