| 内容： | There are proposed a ceramic honeycomb structural body capable of realizing effective collection and removal of particulates discharged from an internal combustion engine or effective conversion of harmful gases. The ceramic honeycomb structural body is manufactured by using silicon carbide raw powders comprising 60 to 80% by mass of particles of first particle group having one frequency peak in the particle size distribution and a particle size of 1.0 m or more and 100 m or less, and 20 to 40% by mass of particles of a second particle group having a particle size of 0.1 m or more and less than 1.0 m, molding into a honeycomb pillar shape and then firing. |
