The manufacturing method of the silicon nitride based conductive ceramics is provided with a calcination process in which an uncalcined exothermic resistor which contains silicon nitride, conductive ceramic component, and RE2Si2O7 (provided, "RE" is rare-earth element) and which becomes an exothermic resistor by calcination is calcined in a state that it is embedded into uncalcined insulating substrate which becomes an insulating substrate by calcination.
